I’m Jo. I’m an Artist, Illustrator and Children’s Author living in Kingston Upon Thames. Originally from the North West of England, I moved to London back in 2011 and am still loving the adventure of the big city (and the outskirts that are slightly quieter, more leafy and have lovely river walks and cosy cafes and pubs.)
After years of working in the Events industry, meeting a wealth of wonderful creative humans and having some incredible experiences planning weddings, royal events, celebrity Children's parties and much much more, I am taking a new direction and focusing on my Art and Illustration work that has been rumbling in the background for a fair few years now.
Art and Design has always been a passion of mine and it runs in the family. With an Artist for a mum and two Grandmas that were aspiring illustrators for children's books, I feel its my destiny to be the next generation to fly the creative flag and over the years have spent many delightful hours drawing, designing, creating and making art.
I create Children’s book illustrations, Greetings cards, Bespoke prints and I also write Children’s books. Driven by a desire to create lovable and funny Characters as well as to write words that inspire and motivate young people, I find complete peace and tranquillity in drawing and writing.
